Daily Wire| . After years of neglect under the Obama administration, ICE has finally got its mojo back. On Thursday, Immigration and Customs Enforcement announced its largest anti-gang operation to date. According to ICE officials, agents have arrested 1,378 people in a massive six-week operation across the country.
“Of the arrests, 933 were US citizens and 445 were foreign nationals, though ICE could not provide how many were in the US illegally,” notes CNN. “Of the total arrests, 280 were solely immigration-related.”
Three of the suspects arrested were individuals who had received protected status under former President Obama Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program, or DREAM.
